About Violin Metal Instrumental V2

Violin Metal Instrumental V2 is where I've collected the work that actually matters to me across the past couple years—the pieces that felt like they landed something true about what happens when you run a classical instrument through distortion and let it sit with actual metal songwriting.

The result is direct and physical, every track built on actual riffs and rhythmic structures that hold weight.

The core idea threading through these tracks is simple: stop treating violin and metal like they're awkwardly borrowed from each other. On Violin Metal: Anomaly and Genesis of Violincore, the violin isn't decorating the riffs—it's carrying the melody with the same weight a lead guitar would, hitting tremolo and distortion hard enough that you stop hearing "violin that's metal" and just hear the song. I tuned a lot of these pieces in modal scales (Celtic Phrygian mostly), which gives you that galloping, almost folk-metal foundation, but then layered in shamisen and guzheng on Samurai Metal and the title track itself, where the texture gets genuinely unfamiliar. That's the point. The 8-bit texture on Violin Pixel Endboss Music sits weird intentionally—it should feel like something cracked open.

The sequencing here moves between different string traditions and approaches without pretending they're the same thing. Rise of the Celtic Phoenix leans into orchestral arrangement; Cyberbow stays lean and aggressive. METAL POWER HOUR V2 is the suite piece, eleven compositions that treat the full ensemble approach. What ties it together is the belief that instrumental metal can say something without vocals, and that classical techniques on distorted strings don't weaken the heaviness—they just make it sound like something you haven't heard before. The result is direct and physical, every track built on actual riffs and rhythmic structures that hold weight.
